This lightweight, standalone version of sudoku can be stored on any USB pendrive, thus enabling you to play your favorite game anytime, anywhere, on any computer. Sudoku Portable includes several levels of difficulty (easy, medium, hard and 'impossible') and saves games between program launches.
Sudoku Portable couldn't be easier to use. Simply click on any square you wish to fill in and type the correspondent number in your keyboard. There's no option to insert temporary numbers though.
In case you get really stuck, Sudoku Portable includes a checking function that shows you the wrong numbers in your sudoku – if any. For desperate cases, there's also the "Solve" function that automatically finishes the sudoku for you. However I missed having some sort of hint system that could help you solve the puzzle without actually completing it.
